Our Story

Who’s Got the Bag was founded by James Epps in 2022 after turning a childhood dream into reality.

When James was younger, he always wanted to own his own sweet shop. In 2022, that dream became Who’s Got the Bag, an independent sweet shop in the heart of Gosport, Hampshire.

The idea was simple. We wanted to bring high-quality sweets, treats and exciting products to Gosport at good prices, while creating the kind of sweet shop that people actually enjoy visiting.

We wanted somewhere filled with great products, from childhood favourites and traditional sweets to the newest confectionery trends.

Our family also has a background in the toy industry, which has helped us expand Who’s Got the Bag beyond confectionery. Today, alongside our sweets, customers can discover a growing selection of toys, sensory products, squishies, novelty items and trending products.

Since opening in 2022, our range has continued to grow. We now offer custom pick ’n’ mix, retro and traditional sweets, freeze-dried sweets, imported candy, sugar-free and vegan options, chocolate, snacks, gifts, toys and much more.
