Our Freeze-Dried Candy is produced using a low and slow freeze-drying process to help lock in flavour while transforming the sweets into a light, crunchy and puffed texture.
Each candy reacts differently during freeze-drying. Some may become very light and melt in your mouth, while others may remain firmer, harder or considerably crunchier. Texture, shape and appearance will vary depending on the type of sweet.
Please note that the freeze-drying process naturally changes and distorts the original shape of the candy. Sweets may appear misshapen, cracked, split, chipped or uneven. This is completely normal and does not affect the flavour or quality of the product.
Freeze-dried candy is extremely delicate. Some breakage, crushing and powdering may occur during packing and delivery. We allow for up to approximately 10% breakage, crumbs or powder due to the fragile nature of the product.
Candy pieces, sticks and shells may break apart during transit. Coated sweets may have small chips, cracks or imperfections. These cosmetic changes do not affect the taste or intended texture of the candy.
Every batch may look slightly different because of variations in the original sweets and the freeze-drying process.
Store in a cool, dry place and keep the packaging securely closed after opening to help maintain the crunchy texture. Keep Air Tight.
